With support from Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Justice, DONGYOU LAW FIRM, Huaihua was formally established on September 8, 2024 within Huaihua International Land Port (Cross-border) E-commerce Industrial Park. It marks Huaihua’s first institution dedicated to cross-border legal services and DONGYOU’s second branch in Hunan Province, established to actively respond to new national requirements for strengthening the construction of strategic hinterlands.
Boasting convenient transportation networks, abundant natural resources, favorable policy services and accelerated development of the international land port, Huaihua is emerging as a gateway linking the ASEAN region. The development of Huaihua International Land Port embodies the implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on fostering a new development paradigm. It serves as a landmark project to realize the vision of “Three Highs and Four News”, implement the “Five New Initiatives and Four-City Strategy”, and build an inland highland for reform and opening-up, linking the New Western Land-Sea Corridor and the international land-sea thoroughfare toward the Indian Ocean.
Nestled within the cross-border e-commerce industrial park and adjacent to Huaihua International Land Port People’s Court, DONGYOU LAW FIRM, Huaihua deploys attorneys dispatched from headquarters together with local legal talents in Huaihua. Drawing on the comprehensive strengths of integrated, cross-regional services shared by headquarters and all branches, it provides more efficient, convenient and professional legal services and solutions for Huaihua to align with national strategies, seize opportunities brought by RCEP, and forge a new opening-up framework of “Relying on Dual Corridors, Connecting Two Oceans, Serving Dual Circulation”. High-quality cross-border legal services strongly underpin the construction of key Belt and Road Initiative projects.
